Ten files at once, step 1 of 7
Kama uploads the whole EP to Studio in one go: up to 10 files at a time and up to 50 tracks per release. WAV, MP3, FLAC and voice memos all work.
On screen: Kama’s Studio: six files uploading.
Sign-ups open for the first hundred
Release music, share moments, build your audience. Qplet is getting ready to launch, and the first hundred artists get everything, from a numbered badge to a year of Pro+.
Free, from age 14. Works in your browser, nothing to install.
One release, two phones
Kama makes music and Anya listens. Here’s what happens between their phones.
Kama uploads the whole EP to Studio in one go: up to 10 files at a time and up to 50 tracks per release. WAV, MP3, FLAC and voice memos all work.
On screen: Kama’s Studio: six files uploading.
The artist chooses the type: single, EP or album. Kama sets a release time, and Qplet puts the release out automatically, even in the middle of the night.
On screen: Draft of the “Midnight” EP: out on Friday at 00:00.
At midnight the EP appears in “Following” for everyone who follows Kama, along with a notification. Anya hits play straight from the lock screen.
On screen: Anya’s lock screen at 00:00: “Drift” is playing.
The drop hits at 1:47. Anya writes “right here”, and the comment is pinned to that exact second.

The link opens the track at exactly 1:47. Anya sends it on WhatsApp, Telegram or Facebook.
On screen: Anya shares “Drift” from 1:47.
Kama gets a notification and sees the comment right at 1:47 in the track. Comments like this show which parts of a track work.

Until likes, plays and followers reach 10, only the artist can see the numbers. Kama has a page of their own, with releases and, if Kama wants, a city and booking contacts.
People, not bots. Music made entirely by AI can be uploaded, but it’s labelled and isn’t promoted.
On screen: Kama’s page: Kazan, releases and “For bookings”, no stats.
We work in the open
The browser version comes first, on phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install. The iOS and Android apps follow. Each version has a deadline. We don’t announce dates, but we do show how close we are: the bar under each version keeps moving and reaches the end on the day it ships.
Our promise
Every version will ship by the deadline we’ve set ourselves.
One account for everything. The handle you claim now will be yours in the apps too.
All of this is still in the works. The founders, the first hundred artists, will see it first.
New music non-stop: just press play.
Head-to-heads and contests between musicians. Listeners pick the winner.
Musicians in your city who’ve chosen to be found.
Plus Charts, band pages, messaging, live streams and video.
Waves
We’re opening in waves, and each wave comes with its own perks. The first hundred get everything, including a year of Pro+.

Sign-ups for the next wave open once the one before it is full. They close on launch day.
Qplet opens to the founders first, then to the next waves. You’ll get an email on the day.
Your wave’s badge stays on your page for good.
We’ve sent an email to . It has a link to confirm your spot (the link works for 7 days), or your spot number if you already have one. It can take a couple of minutes to arrive. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder.
@handle · Founders · spot #1. When Qplet opens for your wave, you’ll get an email.
A platform for musicians and their listeners. Artists put out tracks and releases, see where listeners get hooked and build an audience of their own. Listeners find new music, comment on moments in tracks and follow artists. The browser version comes first; the iOS and Android apps follow.
When Qplet opens for your wave: founders first, then the next waves. You’ll get an email on the day. You can upload WAV, MP3, FLAC and voice memos.
We’re opening in waves so we have time to help every artist in the first waves with their page and their first release. Your spot in a wave locks in your handle and the wave’s perks.
Claiming a spot in early access is free. On top of that, founders get the Pro+ plan for a year, pioneers for six months and the first thousand for three months, starting on the day Qplet launches.
Your handle becomes the address of your page: qplet.com/@handle. It’s reserved for you once you confirm your email address, and it stays reserved until Qplet opens for your wave. You’ll get an email then, and from that day you have 30 days to create an account with the same email address. Your handle carries over automatically. Until launch, nobody but you can see it. The names of well-known artists are reserved for the artists themselves.
The link in the email works for 7 days. If you miss it, sign up again with the same email address. You’ll get a new email, and the link in the old one stops working. Your handle is reserved once you confirm your address.
Yes, Qplet is open from age 14. Your email address is never shown to anyone, and your handle stays hidden until launch. After that, your handle becomes the address of your page, and your city and booking contacts appear on it only if you add them. Likes, plays and followers are visible only to you while there are fewer than 10.
Yes. When you upload, tick “This is a mix or DJ set” and put the tracklist under “About the track”. We’re still deciding how long a single file can be.
For now, a spot is for one person. Accounts are personal, from age 14. Shared pages for bands and groups will come later. We don’t have an answer yet for members under 14, who can’t have an account of their own.
We’re building Qplet to work with VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA, and with a keyboard alone, and we check our pages for accessibility.
We’ll send three emails: one to confirm your address, one to confirm your spot (with your number and a link for friends) and an invitation to Qplet when your wave opens. Nothing else, and we don’t pass your address on to anyone. You can delete your sign-up with the link in any email.
Radio, Charts and Battles promote music made by people. Tracks made entirely by AI can be uploaded, but they’re labelled and aren’t promoted.
